Santa Fe Springs, CA.- The worker who who died after being pinned underneath a street sweeper in Santa Fe Springs on Monday morning has been identified as Ramon Rivera, according to the authorities.
The accident took place at a construction site along Carmenita Road and Florence Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. October 6.
According to the report, Rivera was part of a crew at the site where asphalt work was being done and was pinned under the street sweeper.
Rivera was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The Whittier Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
