Phoenix, AZ — A 14-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while in a crosswalk in north Phoenix Saturday evening, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The crash was reported at approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue.

Witnesses told police that the teenager was in the crosswalk when a southbound vehicle traveling in the left lane struck him.

The 14-year-old boy sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. No other injuries were reported in the information provided.

Police said the driver showed no signs of impairment following the collision. No arrests were reported.
