Vallejo, CA.- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Vallejo on Saturday morning, according to the Vallejo Police Department.
The crash happened on Sonoma Boulevard and Meadows Drive just after 4 a.m. October 5.
Vallejo police reported that a car struck a man walking near the intersection.
Emergency crews performed life-saving measures on the pedestrian but the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.
The Vallejo Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
