Vallejo police reported that two cars were involved in the collision and one of them struck a woman
Vallejo, CA – A woman was killed and two others injured in a collision involving a hit-and-run driver in Vallejo early Saturday morning, according to the Vallejo Police Department.
Authorities were dispatched at 5:05 a.m. January 10, to the crash on Sonoma Boulevard and Redwood Street.
Vallejo police reported that two cars were involved in the collision and one of them struck a woman. Reasons as to why the vehicles collided and how the woman got involved were not immediately established.
The woman died of her injuries at the scene. At the time of the report, the woman’s identity was not released.
One of the involved drivers fled from the area on foot before authorities arrived.

Solano County’s collision rates consistently highlight challenges with road safety, particularly for motorcyclists, pedestrians, and bicyclists, and underline the need for targeted safety interventions and enforcement.
