Phoenix, AZ – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in Phoenix early Thursday morning, according to the Phoenix police.

The accident was reported at around 3:45 a.m. on 28th Avenue and Thomas Road.

Police said a male pedestrian is believed to have been hit by multiple vehicles in the area.

Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At least one vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene.

Phoenix police are investigating the incident.
