Rancho Mirage, CA.– A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Rancho Mirage on Sunday night, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The collision occurred on Highway 111 and Dunes View Road at about 10:30 p.m. August 3.
According to the report, a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The incident is under investigation.
