According to a report by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at around 9:42 p.m. May 6, near Bob Hope Drive and Highway 111.
Initial reports showed that a vehicle hit a person walking in the area. The exact circumstances, including whether the victim was in a crosswalk, were not immediately available.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying down in the roadway.
The victim, who was not immediately identified by the authorities, was rushed to a hospital for treatment. There was no update on the condition of the pedestrian.
