According to the California Highway Patrol, Santos was walking along the onramp when he was struck by a vehicle

Long Beach, CA.- Oscar Santos, 49, has been identified as the man who was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash in Long Beach on Thursday night, according to the medical examiner's office.
The incident occurred on the transition from northbound I-405 and northbound I-710 at around 9:24 p.m. September 25.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Santos was walking along the onramp when he was struck by a vehicle.
Santos was found lying along the side of the roadway and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The transition was shut down for over three hours following the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
