Oak Hills, CA – A crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle caused one person to be airlifted to a hospital with major injuries on Thursday afternoon in Oak Hills.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place on Oak Hill Road near Rodeo Road at around 5 p.m. on July 30.
CHP reported that an adult male was riding a 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 motorcycle on Oak Hill Road when, for unknown reasons, he slammed into the rear of a Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the site of the collision and located the rider down in the northbound side of Oak Hill Road.
The rider was transported by ambulance to Quail Valley Middle School, before being airlifted by Mercy Air to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Center in Colton. The extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries was not specified.
An investigation by the California Highway Patrol is currently ongoing.
