The wreck was reported just before 6 a.m. on November 11 on 28th Street and Broadway Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The police arrived at the scene and found the man lying down after being hit by a vehicle. He was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries for treatment.
The driver involved stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the investigators.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the accident.
