The deadly collision occurred at about 11 p.m. on May 2 in the area of Magnolia and Pacific avenues and involved a Toyota van and a Dodge sedan.

Orange County, CA – One driver was killed and another was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after a two-vehicle collision at an Intersection in Stanton late Friday night.
The deadly collision occurred at about 11 p.m. on May 2 in the area of Magnolia and Pacific avenues and involved a Toyota van and a Dodge sedan.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the Toyota, a 55-year-old male driver, dead at the scene.
One other person was transported to the hospital.
Reportedly, the Dodge driver, identified as James Anthony Deleon, 30, tried to flee the scene on foot but was arrested a short distance from the crash,
Deleon, who resides in Irvine, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence with a prior conviction, murder and DUI causing injury.
The incident remains under investigation.
