61-year-old Amadilia Noemi Cruz and her daughter, 34-year-old Gabriela Amadilia Cruz, both Anaheim residents, died in the crash that happened at West Cerritos Avenue and South Magnolia Street around 9 p.m. on June 1.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the pair was crossing the street outside a crosswalk when they were hit by a car.
The victims were rushed to a hospital, where they were both pronounced dead.
