The La Habra man died in a crash that took place around 1:35 a.m. on Jamboree Road, south of Warner Avenue.
Irvine, CA. – 29-year-old Joshua Kevin Soto was the man who died in a wrong-way head-on collision that happened early Monday morning in Irvine, the Orange County Sheriff's Coroner's Department reported.
The La Habra man died in a crash that took place around 1:35 a.m. on Jamboree Road, south of Warner Avenue.
According to investigators, Soto was driving a Hyundai Elantra south in the northbound lanes of Jamboree when he collided head-on with another car.
Soto was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
An investigation is ongoing.

Irvine, CA. – One person was killed in a head-on collision early Monday morning in Irvine.
The fatal accident happened around 1:35 a.m. on Jamboree Road near Warner Road, according to the Irvine Police Department.
A Hyundai Elantra was traveling south in the northbound lanes of Jamboree when it collided head-on with another vehicle.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to the hospital where he later died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the second car was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
