Phoenix, AZ – A man was killed Sunday night in a hit-and-run accident in north Phoenix, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 8:40 p.m. on October 19 on Northern Avenue at 27th Avenue.
Police said the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.
The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.
The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The police are looking for the suspect.
An investigation is underway.
