Preliminary reports indicate that multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the freeway. The exact circumstances under which the incident occurred were not immediately provided.
According to the CHP, the accident led to one person being transported to a hospital for treatment. There was no update on the condition of the hospitalized person.
