The woman was trapped in the car and had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital where she died while receiving treatment

Anaheim, CA. – A woman was killed in a suspected DUI car accident on Sunday night in Anaheim.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the accident happened around 10 p.m. at Magnolia Avenue and Broadway.
The 56-year-old Long Beach woman was driving a red Honda southbound when the DUI suspect traveling northbound in a white sedan turned left in front of her, causing both vehicles to collide.
The woman was trapped in the car and had to be extricated before being taken to hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the white sedan, 29-year-old Samantha Farris, of Buena Park, was arrested for felony DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
