Jose Aldana, 52, was pronounced dead after a multi-vehicle crash shut down lanes on the Santa Ana Freeway in Commerce, authorities said.
Commerce, CA – The authorities have released the name of the person who died after multiple vehicles collided on Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Commerce on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Jose Cordova Aldana, 52. Aldana was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.

Commerce, CA – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Commerce on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:55 p.m. on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway near Washington Boulevard.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to overturn.
One person was killed in the accident.
