Los Angeles police reported that Vasquez was walking her dog across Osborne Street outside of the crosswalk when they were hit by an eastbound Honda Accord

Pacoima, CA.- A pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Pacoima on Monday evening has been identified as Gloria Vasquez, 76, according to the Los Angeles County Office of the Medical Examiner.
The accident happened at about 8:15 p.m. August 3, on Osborne Street and Haddon Avenue.
Los Angeles police reported that Vasquez was walking her dog across Osborne Street outside of the crosswalk when they were hit by an eastbound Honda Accord.
Vasquez was pronounced deceased at the scene while her dog later succumbed to its injuries.
The driver fled the scene after the crash.
Police shortly after arrested a suspect, identified as Ever Marquez, 31, of Pacoima.
The LAPD is investigating the accident.
