Folsom, CA – The pedestrian who was killed in a crash that occurred at a SacRT light rail station in Folsom last week on Thursday has been identified.

According to the Folsom Police Department, a vehicle crashed into the light rail platform and the vehicle overturned onto the train tracks.
The Folsom police, Folsom Fire Department, and officials from the Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) responded to the scene of the accident.
Medics declared the pedestrian, later identified as Steffy, deceased at the scene. The driver of the involved vehicle was taken to UC Davis Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The accident disrupted light rail services between the Sunrise and Historic Folsom stations as authorities examined and cleared the scene.
