Playa Del Rey, CA – A female pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car following a two-vehicle accident on Vista Del Rey in Playa Del Rey Sunday evening.
The crash happened at around 7:10 p.m. on March 16 in the 8200 block of Vista Del Mar near the shoreline, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the two-vehicle collision led to one of the automobiles going off the side of the road and fatally crashing into the woman.
The female pedestrian, whose name was not released, died at the scene.
A roughly 70-year-old man sustained minor injuries.
