Diamond Bar, CA – A motorcyclist was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on SR-57 in Diamond Bar Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on northbound State Route 57 just south of Pathfinder Road at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Preliminary reports indicate that a motorcycle collided with a silver Nissan Rogue SUV. One additional vehicle was also involved in the crash. The impact caused the motorcycle to go down in the lanes, leaving the rider injured in the roadway. The crash blocked the HOV and No. 1 lanes, with debris and vehicles obstructing traffic.
Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital for treatment of injuries, though the extent of those injuries has not been disclosed. No arrests have been reported.
CHP officers and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene to assist the injured rider, manage traffic, and coordinate vehicle removal.
The collision caused significant traffic delays along northbound SR-57 as lanes were blocked before all vehicles were moved to the right shoulder and the roadway was cleared.
The incident remains under investigation.
