Diamond Bar maintains an exceptionally strong motorcycle safety record compared to other Los Angeles County cities. According to the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) 2023 – 2025 rankings, the city recorded only four motorcycle victims killed or injured, ranking it 92nd out of 103 similar-sized cities — a position that indicates it is among the safest for riders. This low casualty rate is particularly notable given the city’s proximity to major interchanges like the SR-57 and SR-60, which are high-volume transit points for the region’s motorcyclists.
Despite these low figures, regional data suggests that unsafe speed (29%) and automobile right-of-way violations (21%) remain the primary threats to riders passing through the area.
