Cruz Munoz Killed in Los Angeles Crash on 5 Freeway near Los Feliz Boulevard

Munoz succumbed to multiple blunt-force traumatic injuries

Los Angeles, CA. – Cruz Saldana Munoz, 36, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash last Saturday in Los Feliz.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:25 a.m. on the Golden State (5) Freeway at the Los Feliz Boulevard off-ramp.

A Toyota Corolla was northbound when the driver reportedly lost control and collided with a Honda Pilot SUV. The impact propelled both vehicles to the right shoulder, where the Corolla struck a concrete wall.

Munoz succumbed to multiple blunt-force traumatic injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Another person was rushed to the hospital in unknown condition.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
