Oroville, CA – One person died and another suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Forbestown Road in the Oroville area on Friday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:37 p.m. near Lower Black Bart Road, between Hurleton and Swedes Flat Road.
CAL FIRE personnel responded to the scene and performed CPR on a patient. Another person was reported to have sustained major injuries.
As per the CHP, one person was killed in the crash.
The entire roadway was closed at approximately 3:56 p.m. as authorities responded to the crash and documented evidence. A tow truck was later seen following King Towing to its yard.
No additional details are available at this time. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
