Portland, OR.- A boy riding on a scooter was struck and injured by a vehicle in Southeast Portland on Tuesday evening, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The accident took place on Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Lincoln Street at around 7:38 p.m. September 23.
According to the police, a 9-year-old boy was riding an e-scooter when a vehicle struck him at the intersection.
The boy, who sustained critical injuries, was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The driver remained at the scene after the crash and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
