Blythe, CA – Two people suffered serious injuries Friday afternoon after a vehicle overturned in Blythe, according to authorities.
The rollover crash was reported shortly after 3:40 p.m. in the area of Seeley Avenue and SC and D Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said.
Firefighters with the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and confirmed that one of the occupants had been ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Due to the severity of the injuries, two medical helicopters were requested to assist with transporting the patients from the area to hospitals.
The condition of the injured individuals was not immediately released.
The cause of the rollover crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
