Phoenix, AZ- The police have identified the man killed in a single-vehicle accident in Phoenix early Tuesday as Angel Banuelos, 25.
The deadly accident happened at around 2 a.m. September 16, on McDowell Road near Central Avenue.
Investigators said Banuelos was driving westbound on McDowell Road when he lost control and hit a curb on the north side before colliding with a palm tree.
Responding firefighters pronounced Banuelos dead at the scene.
Authorities believe Banuelos was driving at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
McDowell Road was temporarily closed from the Central to 3rd Street to allow the crew to clear the wreckage.
