Phoenix, AZ – Two police officers and a civilian driver were injured in a collision involving a police SUV in north Phoenix early Wednesday morning, according to a police report.

The crash happened around 4:20 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue.

According to investigators, two pickup trucks and a Phoenix Police Department patrol vehicle were involved in the crash.

Investigators said one of the pickup trucks struck the police SUV.

Two officers in the SUV were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck that struck the SUV was also transported to the hospital for treatment. The driver is suspected to have been impaired at the time of the crash.

The intersection was shut down for several hours following the collision.

The crash is under investigation.
