San Diego, CA. – One person was killed in a rollover crash on Saturday morning in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2:20 a.m. on northbound I-5 near the Interstate 8 interchange.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. A gray SUV overturned onto its roof in the freeway lanes after the crash.
One person was killed in the collision.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
All northbound lanes of I-5 north of Old Town Avenue were closed due to the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
