The two-vehicle collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. on August 11 at the intersection of Marine and Mansel Avenues, according to the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station.
One of the vehicles involved in the collision was described as a black Hyundai with a JLM Environmental logo on a detached vehicle door lying in the street.
Police said one person died in the crash. The identity of the deceased party was not immediately released.
