A pickup truck reportedly crashed into the rear of a commercial semi-truck on the southbound side of the highway
Buellton, CA.- One person was injured in a crash between two vehicles near Buellton on Wednesday morning, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The accident was reported at about 6:00 a.m. on Highway 101 near Jonata Park.
A pickup truck reportedly crashed into the rear of a commercial semi-truck on the southbound side of the highway.
The driver of the pickup was able to extricate themselves from the vehicle.
The driver was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
No one else was hurt in the collision.
At least one southbound lane of Highway 101 was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
