Aubrey Player Killed in Los Angeles Crash at Duarte and 55th streets

A white Chevrolet was traveling north when it struck 57-year-old Aubrey Player.

Los Angeles, CA. – A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in the Central-Alameda neighborhood of South Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident happened around 8:35 p.m. at Duarte and 55th streets.

A white Chevrolet was traveling north when it struck 57-year-old Aubrey Player.

Player was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
