San Diego, CA. – 21-year-old Veronica Maria Moran has been identified as the woman who died in a car accident in San Diego’s Mission Hills neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1:13 a.m. on southbound I-5 at Washington Street.
An 18-year-old girl was driving an Infiniti southbound when she lost control and crashed into the concrete divider wall.
The driver and her passenger, Veronica, had exited the vehicle when a 52-year-old man driving a Toyota SUV southbound struck the Infiniti.
Veronica was also struck by the SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More information on the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
