Colfax, CA – Three people were injured in a crash on Interstate 80 West in Colfax on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to CHP logs, the crash involved a blue Subaru and a green Acura. One of the vehicles sustained major front-end damage and ended up facing the wrong direction in the center divider. Two parties were reportedly trapped inside a vehicle, and airbags were deployed in at least one car.
Authorities confirmed that three patients were at the scene. Emergency crews provided medical assistance before the victims were transported to a hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries was not stated. No arrests were reported.
Emergency responders, including fire personnel and law enforcement, arrived at the scene and worked to rescue trapped occupants and manage the situation.
