Cabazon, CA – The man who was killed in a Sunday night head-on collision at an intersection in Cabazon has been identified.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Bureau, 46-year-old Shaundeen Boniface was the victim of the deadly accident that was reported at around 9 p.m. March 15.
Preliminary reports indicate that two vehicles crashed near the Redlands (10) Freeway. The cause of the accident was not immediately established.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Boniface was declared deceased at the scene.
At least one person was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The accident caused damage to nearly 30 feet of chain-link fence in the area.
The California Highway Patrol officers are still looking into the accident to establish its cause.
