Coryell County, TX. – A 22-year-old Waco woman was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on March 3rd in Coryell County.
According to the local police, the crash happened on FM 116 near mile marker 376 at around 8:07 p.m.
The 22-year-old was driving northbound in a Kia Soul on FM 116 when she hit the rear of a semi-truck pulling onto FM 116 from a loading yard.
The Kia driver, Yasmin Lee Barrientos, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear whether speed or impairment played a role in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
