San Jacinto, CA – A 58-year-old woman from Hemet was killed in a two-vehicle collision that took place in San Jacinto on Tuesday morning.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the accident was reported at around 10:05 a.m. January 27, on Warren Road and Ramona Expressway.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash and one of the drivers was found unresponsive at the scene. The report did not indicate how the vehicles crashed or what may have caused the accident.
Deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station responded to the scene and the unresponsive driver was rushed to a hospital, where she was declared deceased. Authorities later identified the driver as Latrenda Mitchell, 58, of Hemet.
The other driver was not injured and remained at the scene.
The report did not specify whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident.
