San Marcos, CA – One person was killed after a motorcycle and a sedan collided at Montiel Road and Hillsboro Way in San Marcos on Tuesday evening, according to an official San Diego Police Department press release.

The motorcyclist, identified as Mason William Boulais, a 23-year-old resident of Escondido, sustained critical injuries. Paramedics attempted lifesaving efforts on Boulais but pronounced him deceased at approximately 5:52 p.m. No information on injuries to occupants of the sedan was provided.
