
Phoenix, AZ.– A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run collision near a west Phoenix intersection early Saturday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The accident was reported shortly after 5 a.m. November 29, 2025, near the 35th and Grand avenues intersection.
At the scene, the Phoenix police located a man with severe injuries. The man had apparently been hit by a driver who fled the scene immediately after the crash and remained at large.
The Phoenix Fire Department crews also responded to the incident and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. The victim’s name was not immediately released.
There was no description of the hit-and-run suspect or the vehicle involved in the collision.
The crash led to the closure of both sides of 35th Avenue south of Grand Avenue as authorities examined and cleared the scene. The accident is under investigation by the Phoenix Police Department.
