Phoenix, AZ.- A juvenile motorcycle rider was killed in a collision that occurred in Phoenix on Sunday afternoon, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The accident took place on Cave Creek Road and Grovers Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. September 28.

According to the report, a boy was riding a motorcycle southbound on Cave Creek Road when he collided with a car making a turn onto Grovers Avenue.

The boy was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The elderly woman driving the car was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
