Bakersfield, CA – A man was killed Friday night in a bicycle accident in the Lamont area of Bakersfield, according to the CHP.
The deadly accident occurred around 8:27 p.m. on August 22 on Buena Vista Boulevard at South Fairfax Road.
CHP said a silver pick-up truck struck a man who was riding a bicycle.
The man was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.
The accident closed the westbound lanes of Buena Vista Boulevard.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
