, CA – The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified the girl killed days after a crash on Alfred Harrell Highway in Bakersfield in October as Mirian Stephanie Ramirez Masin, 17, of Bakersfield.

The crash happened at around 7:55 p.m. October 19  on the eastbound Alfred Harrell Highway, east of Fairfax Road.

Reportedly, a 2020 white Toyota Camry driven by an 18-year-old man veered to the westbound lane and rolled down an embankment.

The car was carrying three passengers, all 17-year-olds.

The driver and three passengers, including Masin, were taken to Kern Medical with moderate to severe injuries.

Masin was pronounced dead four days later.

No additional information about the crash was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
