Tulare County, CA – A 58-year-old male bicyclist was killed in a traffic collision at an intersection in Tulare County Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 6 p.m. on April 18 on Cross and Coelho Avenues.
The man was riding his bicycle through the intersection when for unknown reasons he was hit by a vehicle.
The man suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead later.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The name of the deceased was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
No additional information regarding the crash was available.
An investigation is underway.
