A blue Jeep Compass reportedly crashed head-on with an oncoming white BMW after the white vehicle drifted to the left across the centerline

Tulare County, CA.- A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Tulare County on Monday night, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities responded shortly before 11:30 p.m. November 17, to the deadly collision near Road 100 and Avenue 264.
A blue Jeep Compass reportedly crashed head-on with an oncoming white BMW after the white vehicle drifted to the left across the centerline.
The driver of the Jeep, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to Adventist Health, where she was declared dead.
A child riding as a passenger in the Jeep was taken to Kaweah Health as a precaution.
The operator of the BMW was hospitalized with major injuries including broken legs.
According to the authorities, impairment was not believed to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
