Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the victim killed in Sunday evening pedestrian crash on Interstate 110 in South Los Angeles as 32-year-old Derek Clay.

The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. January 19 in the express lane of the Harbor (110) Freeway near West Slauson Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A vehicle struck and killed Clay in the area for reasons not yet established.

Clay was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The cause of the wreck is being investigated.
