Emilio Guerrero and Annabel Guerrero Killed in Downey Two-Car Crash at Paramount Boulevard and Gardendale Street in Downey
Downey, California (October 8, 2023) – Authorities have released the names of the man and woman killed in a violent two-car collision in Downey Sunday afternoon.
Emilio Guerrero, 52, and his wife, 47-year-old Annabel Guerrero, were pronounced dead at the crash scene.
Emilio was a Seargent at the Los Angeles County Bureau of Investigation while his wife was a teacher with the Downey Unified School District, according to a police report.
A 60-year-old man sustained critical injuries in the crash and was hospitalized.

Downey, California (October 8, 2023) – Two people are dead and another injured following a violent traffic collision at an intersection in Downey Sunday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The deadly crash was reported just after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and Gardendale Street.
Personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and located two vehicles, one of them a pickup truck, involved in the crash.
As per the Los Angeles County Fire Department, two people sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
One other injured person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
The pickup truck sustained major damage in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
