Palm Springs, California (June 28, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a crash that happened near Windy Cove in Palm Springs on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident was reported around 1:40 p.m. on Highway 111 near Gateway Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle was traveling eastbound when it collided with another vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The impact of the collision sent one of the cars down a 30-foot embankment.
One driver was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
