San Diego, CA. – A woman was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening in San Diego’s Pacific Beach neighborhood.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened around 9:55 p.m. at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Reed Avenue.

The 67-year-old woman was in the north crosswalk when she was struck by a Toyota 4Runner traveling eastbound on Reed Avenue and was turning onto Mission Boulevard.

The woman suffered serious injuries including a fractured pelvis and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said DUI was not a factor in the accident.
