Irvine, CA – One person was hurt in a traffic collision that took place Thursday afternoon on a transition road in Irvine, according to California Highway Patrol logs.

According to CHP, two vehicles were involved in the accident. One of the cars struck the guardrail.
CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene.
One person sustained minor injuries in the crash. It was unclear if the patient was hospitalized.
About 20 feet of guardrail was destroyed in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
