Yuma County, AZ – A 34-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed in a two-vehicle collision that took place on Saturday night in Yuma County.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office, the accident was reported at around 9:30 p.m. January 24, in the area of West County B Street and S. Avenue B.

A preliminary investigation into collision reveals that a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe was traveling northbound on Avenue B when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into the back of a 2014 Honda CR-V that was traveling in front of it. The impact of the crash ejected the motorcyclist onto the roadway.

The two drivers were taken to a hospital, where the Harley-Davidson rider was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Honda was being treated for minor injuries.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office identified the motorcyclist as Abraham Corral, 34, of Yuma.

According to the YCSO, speed is suspected to have played a role in the collision. The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information regarding the accident is urged to call the YCSO at 928-783-4427.
